Day 38!

Today I got up around 9 and after a quick shower and breakfast me and Mrs Kirste went into Esslingen to church for the last time. This week it was a familys service, so at the start all the kids got up and sang a song which was very cute :). And then we sung some..
Ok I found this last week too, whenever I opened up the hymn books that they had I got the maddest burst of hayfever.. I have been struggling with a bit of the hayfever recently, but with the help of some nasal spray its been fine.. But oh man, I open that book and the eyes start running and the nose gets all runny.. kinda makes it hard to sing :).

Anyhow, after that a few little kids got up and read parts of a Psalm, and then the minister gave a reasonably short sermon on it. (come to think if it, it was Psalm 23, that famous one you know.. 'The Lord is my shepard, I shall not want, he makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me by the still waters..) That was all pretty cool, and at the end all the little kids sung again. After the service we left to come home and we hung out for a while. I wanted to get the family a good present but couldnt find anything suitable when I looked in Stuttgart and Esslingen, so I asked to take them out to lunch. They said I could just pay for drinks, and after alot of trying thats all I ended up paying for. (I think ima try sneak some money in somewhere tho to pay for it!!). We went to this really nice outdoor Italian restaurant. The food was great, it wasnt too hot, and it was all around a really nice time.

Once we wered one Björn Heidi and Mr and Mrs Kirste left to buy some stuff for Björns new flat, and me Arnulf, Ariane and Andreas went home. I went online a bit and wrote a blog, and started organising my flickr photos a bit, and then after a while Arnulf came down and we played a game of risk. It was one of those cool oldschool sets with shapes instead of figurines.. He had some different rules than I was used to and at the start I was getting pretty owned! I made a comeback though, and after around 2-2.5 hours I had won (at the end he fully retreated into Austrilia.. and then it was just a matter of time really). Man risk can be a looong game tho.. its so yo-yoing and stuff.. anyways..

Later in the evening we played a 'farewell' game of poker :). And I lost! :) but that was cool, I sat and watched for a while, ate some food, finished organising my flickr site a bit, and had a good relax. Around 10 I gave out all my presents to NZ to the family and showed them a video of the haka which they were quite interested in :). They seemed to like their presents which was cool, and then I said bye to Björn and Heidi, then Mr Kirste (I wouldnt see them again), and went off to my room where I listened to a sermon then went to sleep.

Last day tomorrow!! :(
